Merrimack Valley Textile Museum

Exhibition Design, Visual Identity/Branding, Print/Publications

The exhibition at the Merrimack Valley Textile Museum depicts the history of fabric weaving from spinning wheels to large looms in the factory mills. An intertwining of peoplesā€˜ lives and roles throughout this evolution was described through demonstrations of the process, combined with artifacts, illustrations, and actual machinery. MGD coordinated the selection of objects, storyline, and methods of reproduction for the exhibit, in addition to its design and overseeing manufacture and installation. The studio also designed the identity and catalogues for the museum.
