Place/Recognition, Exhibition Design
The Hall of Benefactors was designed to recognize the many benefactors of The Mayo Foundation as well as display the art and artifacts donated to Mayo in a gallery-like atmosphere. The slate strips fit alphabetically into hardwood tracks, allowing the flexibility of adding future donor names. The art and artifacts are exhibited in both wall-mounted and free-standing cases. Within this space there is also the Mayo Legacy exhibit where the legatees are given the opportunity to write a personal statement about Mayo Clinic which is then printed letterpress and displayed in a leather box.
