In addition to the site design, Malcolm Grear Designers created Thomas Colville's visual identity which includes the new logotype, stationery, labeling system, and visual attitude for their ads. "The site looks wonderful, and it is amazingly easy to use and modify... thanks for listening so well to our ideas about content and technology. All of those ideas came through so clearly in the site (and identity), while giving us a great new design," commented Allison Schaefer of Thomas Colville Fine Art. The design allows visitors generous views of each artwork and provides the option to view each piece with and without its frame. The ability to zoom-in on each artwork is stunning as well as the feature for examining a painting at full-screen. The Artists page provides an intuitive interface for seeing all of the artists represented while making it easy to find the one you are looking for.
