For the third straight year, the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) has ranked in the top tier of the "U.S. News & World Report's" listing of the Best Universities for Masters' degrees, both public and private, in the Midwest. Part of this success is contributed to their ability to improve their graduation rate, increasing the number of classes with lest than twenty students, and increasing their recruitment of freshman with a high ranking in their high school graduating class. In addition, UNK has continued to enjoy a higher than average freshman retention rate and percent of faculty who are full time, compared to their peers.
“We pay attention to these and other university rankings because of their importance to many prospective students and their parents in choosing a university experience,” said Dr. Charles Bicak, senior vice chancellor for Academic Affairs and Student Life. “We are pleased each year to see an upward trend in most of the indexes that reflect UNK’s commitment to students and their success.”
Malcolm Grear Designers created the visual identity for UNK, graphic templates for their website, and design consultation for some of the University's publications.
