The American Art Fair is hosting their seventh annual fair in New York City, which runs November 16 – 19, 2014 at the Bohemian National Hall at 321 East 73rd Street, NYC. The Fair features landscapes, portraits, still lifes, studies, and sculpture exhibited by 17 premier art dealers. The gala preview held this past Saturday, November 15, marks the beginning of American Paintings week in New York. Inaugurated in 2008, The American Art Fair is now the only show that focuses on American 19th and 20th century works.
The identity designed by Malcolm Grear Designers provides an identifier that is energetic, yet classical and elegant in its expression. The symbol suggests the two "a" letterforms while also implying other imagery such as brush strokes and the American flag.
The visual identity system is employed in online and print ads, posters, the website, brochures, name tags, and tote bags.
