Eugene Richards: The Run-On of Time

Designed by Malcolm Grear Designers, this 232-page hardcover book accompanies the exhibition, Eugene Richards: The Run-On of Time, co-organized by the George Eastman Museum and The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, Missouri. The book with essays by co-curators Lisa Hostetler and April Watson is published by the Hall Family Foundation in association with the Nelson-Atkins and the Eastman Museum, distributed by Yale University Press. The exhibition is on view at the George Eastman Museum from June 10 – October 22, 2017, and will be at the Nelson-Atkins Museum from December 9, 2017– April 15, 2018.

Eugene Richards (b. 1944) is a documentary photographer known for his powerful, unflinching exploration of contemporary social issues from the early 1970s to the present. This handsome book is the first comprehensive and critical look at Richards’s lifelong achievements.
