Guggenheim Museum Re-Releases Original Poster Icon for Summer Campaign

The Guggenheim Museum recently approached Malcolm Grear Designers for a limited-release of the iconic image the studio created for a poster in 1970. The poster conveys the symbolic power of the monumental building, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, while remaining a viable piece of art on its own. Originally designed as a series of four one-color posters, in bold versions of red, green, blue and yellow, the poster was later printed in additional colors. The museum is using the image in a current campaign promoting its summer exhibitions.

For twenty years, from 1970-1990, Malcolm Grear Designers designed all of the catalogues, brochures, posters, invitations, calendar of events, newsletters, stationery, gift bags, and promotional items for the Guggenheim Museum.
