Countless Connecting Threads: MIT's History Revealed Through Its Most Evocative Objects has been awarded Second Place in the Exhibition Catalogues category of the 2014 NEMA Publication Award Competition. It is an honor for the MIT Museum and Malcolm Grear Designers to earn this distinction from the The New England Museum Association (NEMA).

In recognition of Malcolm Grear's impact on design education at RISD, an endowed scholarship has been created in his name. Each year, the fund will provide financial assistance to a junior or senior majoring in Graphic Design.
The studio is so proud of this honor given to Malcolm and delighted that future graphic designers will benefit from the generosity of fellow alumni, friends, and clients.
